Not so fast........asshole.

And all that you "see" in this entire image represents less than a billionth of the observable and potential universe.

Yet, embarrasingly, on our tiny speck of dust in that vast universe, there are vast numbers of the allegedly "most intelligent" species on that planet, who adhere to the belief that, in a tiny region of an ancient desert on that speck of rock, a "creator" of this unfathomable vastness revealed himself to a few goatherders and gave them instructions on how to "live" which included paying homage to him under penalty of death and eternal suffering.  He initially provided an alleged explanation which included information about how their little patch of desert was in fact, sitting on a flat disc covered by a crystal dome which held back "water" from the sky.  

The list of inane and crazy explanations for all the things which confounded the minds of ancient man goes on and on, and, by most accounts, comfortably fills the "gaps" in knowledge and understanding for the vast majority of mankind on this tiny speck of dust in this unimaginably vast universe.

And meanwhile, those of us who dispute these irrational and contradictory explanations, are framed as "arrogant".
