“Yeah…….this is gonna hurt.”

No “new ground” being charted here.  Just a reframing of the persistent paradigm, based upon facts on the ground.

The idea that “God’s love is unconditional” in terms of the abrahamic religions is somewhat unique in the chrisitian component of that loathsome trio.   It’s almost non existent in the Judaic and Islamic legs of that deluded stool.   It can be found being spewed in various iterations and filtered through a number of lenses, but it still boils down to a universally accepted truth, which I will attempt to show, is one of the most abhorrent, filthy, and disgusting components of that particular cult. 

Follow me on this.  It’s going to get messy, but you might find it worth the 90 seconds it will take you to get through this.

Right now, on this planet, in at least one location, perhaps more, a 6 year old child is being abducted by an adult male.   That child is going to be brutally raped, beaten, tortured, over the course of hours or days.   The

sodomization of that child may well kill him or her, and, if it does not, the perpetrator will beat the child to death, strangle, then dismember the lifeless body and scatter their remains across a wide geographic area.    Then this adult male will seek out another child to do this to, and repeat the process, over and over again.

Now imagine that the child is yours.

The Christian ideology of the unconditional love of their deity is as available to this murderer just as much as it is available to the individual who would not harm any living thing.   Even if you’re of the mindset that the perpetrator must SEEK forgiveness from the deity and even, perhaps, engage in a few rituals where they

mumble some words indicative of their acceptance of the deity as their lord and savior, in the end, that same “love” that is available to the innocent child from the deity is bestowed upon the animal that sodomized and dismembered that child.   And if you won the bonus round and signed up for the catholic sect of this particular cult, you even get the services of a human representative of the deity, actively absolving the perp of his sins by waving their hands in the air and issuing a few tangible instructions.

If you deny any of this, you’re lying.  Plain and simple.

In the simplest of terms, if you can conceive of an entity, even if it only exists in the imagination of your mind, which can bestow equal love and compassion upon a murderous monster just as easily as upon an innocent child, and in the same paradigm, claim that such an entity is worthy of your respect and adoration, and you do not see the vile nature of such an entity, then you are either willfully ignorant or inherently evil yourself.

Now, since any such entity which can be imagined by anyone does not, has not, and will never, in fact,  exist, means that culpability for the vicarious act of absolving a perpetrator, such as this, of the “sins” of their heinous acts does not fall upon the deity.   

That culpability falls upon the believer.  It falls upon the individual who has conjured up, in their imagination, the existence of such an entity (deity) upon which they are choosing to foist their unwillingness to hold accountable individuals who commit such acts of horror.   It is the believer in this doctrine of vicarious redemption via a non existent entity that is the catalyst by which these aberrant individuals continue to exist.   They create the “get out of jail free” card that is handed out freely to anyone and everyone and provides them access to the same fantasy of eternal paradise that would be available to an individual who devoted every breath of their life to doing nothing BUT “good” and being of service to their fellow man.  It is the promotion of this idea which corrupts the very idea of “good” and “service” and reduces it to a meaningless task, because, in fact, the reward which is implied by the deluded believer is still available to the worst human being to have ever walked the face of the earth, if only they are to “accept Christ” upon their dying breath.

If you fail to find this concept abhorrent, unacceptable, and repulsive, then please do the rest of humanity a

service by finding some way to remove yourself from both the gene pool and from coexistence in the present day with your fellow human being.   For YOU are the problem, YOU are the focus of the indignation and rage of the thinking atheist, as the deity upon which you assign this attribute does not exist.  

You are “his” representative, and YOU are to be held accountable for this disgraceful pattern of thinking.
